Photographer's Notes
In the apartments of Soviet citizens carpets on the wall served several functions:
I have the same feeling of freshness, tranquility and serenity over and over...
Reality sink in dreams, day falls into night...
To dream and stay real or experience another reality in a dream...
Sometimes it's hard to tell them apart...
…photography rarely has the ability to change the system, but it has a great ability to change the way people think about the system.
We long for summer every year. Nobody pays attention when it comes — as it is everywhere and just goes on. For someone it's about quick escape to the shore or reaching summer cottage by car at weekends, or spending endless hours in a stuffy office with a noisy air conditioner, or idling in heat along the streets in search of shade. For others it's a careless life full of discoveries and endless walkings with new friends, riding dad's old bicycle, getting a knee bruised and hair full of sand, smelling fire smoke in the evening and saying goodbye to the sun. Hard to believe it could be otherwise. Or we have to dream about the summer again...
Amnesia is the name of my blog, which just came into the world by the dancing with tambourines magic of Internet shamans of the tribe HelloWorld.by. These gurus of virtual space can materialize any graphic design and technical ideas in the form of cool sites, such as mine. As you can see now, the real shaman-programmer or magician-designer is not a myth, but reality!
I'm very communicative guy, sometimes speaking photographic language. Being not much connected to FB or LJ, I have remained almost "antisocial" personality. Today, giant social networks are offering "rooms" for global communication, overloaded with unwanted services, advertising and messages that just make noise and distract from the real conversation, gobbling our precious time. For example, U.S. users of Facebook spend 53 billion minutes per month online, which amounts to 100,837 years! That's why we have managed to create a comfortable, simple and clean space for communication with my friends, acquaintances and clients, everyone interested in a magical world of photography. I have lots friends around the world, so the blog will be bilingual.
Also, amnesia is a disease with symptoms of lack of memory or incomplete memories of the events. Amnesia can be spontaneous and often temporary. Sometimes memories come back in chronological order, starting with the oldest. Memories of the past events that preceded the amnesia, often never float back...
Who else, not counting a doctor, is dealing with human memory and memories every day? Every time I make a photograph or peer at freshly developed negatives, I'm trying to understand or remember something I perhaps do not know or haven't yet forgotten.
There are about 20 types of amnesia, go and search, you'll probably find your own that best fits you.
I know at least one effective remedy for this disease ...
